Fran McCully is the founder of Fran McCully Bookkeeping and Consulting (FranMccully.com) and HVAC Remote Consulting. She offers:

  • QuickBooks Consulting and sales, 
  • training in QuickBooks (both how to use as an owner and as an office assistant), 
  • outsourced Chief Financial Officer duties, and
  • accounting and business coaching to solopreneurs, in Idaho, Washington, Oregon and throughout the US. 

With 35 years of combined experience in executive administration, finance, and budgeting, Fran’s passion lies in helping her clients improve their financial reporting, cash flow, and profitability.

While Fran’s current clients come from many different industries, including construction, Electricians, plumbers, retail, business services, manufacturing, and more, her focus is on HVAC.

Some of the more recent projects she’s worked on include recovering a year-old $35K bank error for a manufacturing client, improving the cash flow for a lawn care client, and reorganizing QuickBooks for a contractor that improved his revenues substantially.

Fran values continuing education and earned the Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation as well as the Certified QuickBooks Point of Sale ProAdvisor. 

Recently, she has added Field Service Management to her certifications. (A scheduling and dispatch system for service Professionals that includes integration with QuickBooks.)  

As a member of the International Virtual Assistant Association (IVAA), Inland Northwest Virtual Assistant Association (INVAA), and The Virtual Business Group, Fran keeps up-to-date on the best ways to partner with her clients.  She also served as Vice President of the Palouse Networking Association (PNA) for 4 years. Currently she is the Secretary of the Palouse Back Country Horseman.

Prior to starting her own business in 2004, Fran worked as an Administrative Assistant at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and was Executive Assistant at Washington State University for over 20 years. She previously owned a small business partnering with her husband in Wildland Firefighting where they contracted with the Forest Service fighting wildland fires.

Fran holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Idaho and is a graduate of the Virtual Assistant Training Program (VATP), a comprehensive program in how to produce virtual work for clients using the latest technology and expertise. When she is not working she enjoys gardening, caring for and riding her horses, spending time with her husband and family, and working on home improvement projects.
